Our son is Deaf and since he was a baby has loved Jesus pics fir some reason. He has learned so much from this app. The only thing, this app presents god and Jesus as being the same person. We don’t believe in the trinity, we believe god is our Heavenly Father and Christ is his son. While both are gods, only Heavenly Father is God. That’s just us though, so I wish I could hide that video.
What a wonderful resource! With an all Deaf cast, Dr. Wonder's Workshop is a rich language experience for deaf kids who need to see dialogue, not just monologue. The content of the conversation makes it even more valuable. Plus it has engaging voice over and music for hearing kids as well. To have it in a safe, accessible app format (also available for TV app devices) is just fantastic! The parent portal is a great resource, too! The fresh content keeps my kids coming back for more. My deaf kids love this app! My hearing kids love this app! And I love this app!
I’m very excited to get into this with my little ones; as well as my nursery kids at church! I’m so excited to be able to teach my children a way to communicate with other kids who are deaf, as well as learn about God. I’m most excited that the app allows me to use Chromecast to cast the videos to my TV, so I can have my three year old watch while we are doing school with my six year old!
