Ad canโ€™t be closed

Have opened the app twice. I like the app but one ad that popped up cannot be closed and the app just needs to be shut completely in order to use it again. Itโ€™s the ad for the hammer truck navigation app the โ€œxโ€œ to close the ad is in the upper left under the Apple screen clock and cannot be closed. Please move the X down a little bit because you have plenty of room there. BTW I am using the iPhone 13.

Have to watch 30 sec ads

It seems you have to watch a 30 second full screen ad to view your saved locations ( one ad per day I think...) Otherwise ads scroll at bottom of screen. Didnโ€™t see an option to turn ads off. I am using this app to know altitude above ground while flying. Not sure how accurate that feature is yet. I would have rated this higher if ads could be turned off and once the altitude above ground has been proven accurate enough.
