Amazing with flaws

This is one of my favorite games, especially because multiplayer is mostly easy! This is a great game from the Fruit Ninja ™️ Series, and everyone who is saying things about “bugs” is just wrong, needs to fix their wifi, or grabbing attention. THE ADS ARE SOOOOOO ANNOYING! Okay, enough being crazy, and let’s get to the point where I’m chill. Why does Fruitar Hero exist? It’s so annoying to play, because of how you need to get really close to a line (which is hard to do with some blades) to get a good score for the fruit, and if not, for the fruit with arrows, the screen shakes. What a waste of time and tickets. Also, one time I got the Premium thing for the season pass and nothing worked. I want my family’s money back! Now, you may be asking why I said ads were annoying in all caps. It’s because half of the time I’m getting “LingoKids” ads and the other half is Royal Match. Lingokids is annoying because I know the alphabet and my numbers. Royal Match is annoying because most people are getting scammed into seeing their challenges being fake, and they ignore that they’re decoys. Otherwise the game is amazing. P.S I severely edited what I wrote because it was… uhh… cringe. P.P.S Why isn’t mayhem a permanent feature of Minigames? I love it! WAIT, HOW DID I GET ON THE TOP PAGE?

A Step Down From the First Game

Truthfully, I love playing Fruit Ninja. It’s perhaps the most fun mobile gaming arcade game. This is part of the problem with the sequel. It’s such a fun game, but you can’t actually play it how you want. It’s baffling how the game is set up. In the original, you could play arcade, classic, and zen modes, and it slowly became a convoluted mess of in-app purchases and microtransactions, which caused me to remove the original from my phone. It just didn’t run very well when this happened, which took away from the enjoyment of the arcade experience. For me, I’d rather have a simple experience that runs well than have the opportunity to win or purchase skins and other non-essential items. Fruit Ninja 2 fixes the messy and bloated presentation of the first game, but bizarrely forces you to play the game modes the game wants you to play at the time. You don’t get to choose arcade, classic, or zen modes unless the app puts them in the queue. It’s annoying. I find myself wanting to play the app, but then closing it because I don’t get to pick what I want to do. Sometimes I just want to play an arcade match and challenge my high score. I don’t understand why this in not a feature in the game. Unlockables and a light xp system are fine, but they should not come before the game modes. Overall, it’s a shame that a great game is blocked by such strange features. I’d have a hard time recommending the sequel or the original, as much as I love the base game. Sometimes it’s better to keep things simple and I wish Fruit Ninja would know this. It’s a real shame.

Great game with horrible bugs.

I was a massive fan of the first game and grew up with it and I was stoked to see a sequel. The gameplay and multiplayer of the game works really well and I enjoy the different modes. My biggest gripe is the amount of bugs in the game. In multiplayer, I’ve been seconds away from victory only for the game to glitch out and boot me to the main menu. A particularly buggy section of the game is the minigame shuffle; you have to pay in-game tickets to participate which is fine (they’re relatively easy to come by). The problem is when I’m in the third stage of minigames, I finish up the last one and nothing happens and the event doesn’t end. I close the game to see if that would help and all progress is lost and I just wasted a ticket. On one occasion, I tapped to start the minigame shuffle and nothing happened, yet a ticket was taken off anyways. There are a few other minor glitches in the game too. Although these bugs are frustrating, I do understand the game just recently came out and I trust the developers to work on these glitches. It’s still a great game to kill time and play in short bursts every now and then!
