Awful: TV pic always hangs on AppleTV; app needs to be restarted most days.
I wanted to like this service on Apple TV. (Switched from Rogers when they shut down my old digital cable boxes) But the Vmedia TV video constantly hangs via Apple TV. The picture freezes regularly, and I am looking at a spinning wheel. It’s like YouTube during the early days of Internet dialup. . The Apple TV is hardwired to my router. The Vmedia Internet is fine (no such issues with Netflix or Crave). So this issue is specific to the Vmedia TV service. The hockey games have a 40 second lag vs Roger’s cable. The ability to replay prior shows is cool (for channels and programs that offer it, but it’s confusing to know which ones do. The Vmedia app itself is flaky. It needs to be shutdown and reopened to work properly for most new viewing sessions.
