I’m a recovering alcoholic who sits at a desk all day for work. As part of my recovery, I’ve tried several times to get more active, so when my employer offered this program as a perk I jumped at the opportunity. I set a goal of doing 30 minutes of yoga 3 times per week. Every Wednesday, I got a call from my coach to discuss how things were going, help me address roadblocks, and give me ideas on how to do more. After 12 weeks, I feel better than I have in 16 years. I highly recommend LifeDojo
My coach Jean understood my season of life and the unique challenges that face older women. She helped me see that when I didn't meet my goal for the week, it was not a failure but an opportunity to understand was was working for me and what didn't. Jean help me make the connection between my healthy changes and how they affected my body. She let me commit to what I knew I needed to change without telling me what I should do. Jean listened to me and talking to her was effortless. I feel so much better. I have more energy, less headaches and join pain, and a have a positive outlook knowing that I am making progress to live a healthier life.
I’ve suffered from autoimmune diseases and chronic illnesses for years before finding this app. With the help of my coach, I’ve finally been able to address different environmental factors and areas for improvement that my doctors, therapists, and other healthcare professionals never even mentioned. I’m on the right track towards better health for the first time in years! I highly recommend the weekly coach calls — they are very effective and MUCH more affordable than typical therapy or health-coaching rates. The content is also super interesting, and all backed by science, so I know that (unlike many other wellbeing apps on the market) any and all resources or recommendations are legitimate. Thanks, LifeDojo! You’ve changed my life!
