Find My Car - Car Tracker

Got this app off AppAdvice as pro version. Worked ok but after updating, it wants me to buy it for 2$ but I won’t just out of principle because it was offered as a free app. I have shared the app with others and I’m assuming that is the reason behind offering the pro version of the app for free and I get it, however, it now seems like it was just bait to spread the word and the try and make me pay upon updating would maybe give it 5 stars if it didn’t appear to look like greed. It’s too bad, I really wanted to keep the app. Just calling it as it appears. Well it’s not the first developer app from app advice to do this and I’m sure it won’t be the last. As they say, “It is what it is.”

I got this And like many of the other users found that when I upgraded the apps features did not reflect the upgrade. When I went to restore the purchase, the app said it had upgraded and would restore the features, but then got stuck. I deleted the app and reinstalled it, and when I restored the purchase, the app immediately made available the pro features. The upgrade is BUGGY BUT WORKS

Ok, so I got this app on App Advice for free. I was ready to try this out. I parked the car and makes it. I went into a store and came out. I tried to locate the car and wanted to try the sweet sweet augmented reality feature. Oh! You can’t unless you have the pro version! So let me get this straight........I have to pay to try the feature that makes this different from the other find my car apps? I’m not paying $1.99 to TRY the feature. Otherwise, this app is no different, in fact it’s more confusing, than any other find my car app I have. I guess I can’t use this app because I’m not paying for it. Why feature it on App Advice if you can’t use it unless you pay? I’m a sucker! The app looked like it might be better than the others, but I guess I won’t know. A generous three stars is what I give this app for potential. Can’t give more for something I can’t use. You should at least off an opportunity to TRY it first before somebody spends $1.99. No good business.
