Vemos - ID Scan

The last update killed this app. It used to be great but now it just doesn’t work anymore— the ID scans take 4 or 5 times to actually go through (wasting my precious time and annoying customers), the interface is no longer user friendly for practical bar use (you have to click an extra button every time you want to scan an ID), and also now, you have to pay extra money for “premium” features for adjusting absolute basic settings (like turning the haptic sounds off?). Absolutely ridiculous, don’t waste your time until this app gets fixed.

We have used this for a few months now and really love the city wide ban list. We will mark down whenever a guest doesn’t pay a tab and if they go to another venue that uses the app they will get flagged. We have actually had guests come back and pay their tab because of it!

I own a small distillery that does not have a taproom. Over the summer, we offered the option for our customers to order from us directly through our website for contactless deliveries. We needed a way to ensure that no one receiving our alcohol delivery was under the age of 21. We looked around for ID scanning apps and found Vēmos. TBH I was skeptical of all the app but gave it a shot. Super easy to use. My whole team had access and I could easily see when deliveries had been made since the app tracks when IDs are scanned. It could even scan through windows so we never came in contact with our customers! Since our need for the app was temporary, I contacted Vēmos customer support to let them know I wanted to cancel the subscription. They were very friendly and understanding of my businesses needs. If I ever need an app like this again, I will turn to Vēmos!
