Coverdrone - Insure, Plan, Fly

Would you trust an insurance co whose backend is so broken that they can’t even generate a quote even after creating a user account? Their claims support must be a nightmare! Well Coverdrone is such a company. Also apparently they don’t cover EU countries. Which ones? No one can tell, because they didn’t bother putting that information upfront. This questionable company is for Brexiteers. Waste of my time, and potentially yours. Stay the F away.

Have not submitted a quote yet for insurance coverage and will need to do that when using the app for my uas flight tracking. I like the fact that you can insure actual flight time instead of by the year with most insurance companies. What I initially came here for was to find an app with an ADS-B alert system with flight tracking. I fly in a Class D airspace in a city with a small airport right across the river, and need audible alerts similar to the one in my DJI Air 2, except with visual tracking similar to the Plane Tracking app. I’m a private pilot too with the FAA Part 61 Certification as well as the UAS Part 107 and having real time airspace alerts is a must.

Apparently, the service is available World Wide. Except for the U.S.A. I wish they would’ve put this on their iTunes ad. I wouldn’t have wasted my time.
