DogLog - Track your dog’s life

So I downloaded this because of all the positive reviews. I have a 5 month puppy and fun trying to create a regular schedule for him to assist with potty training. So I was looking for a free app I could use to log his day to keep up with his schedule. A lot of apps claim to be free but after logging two things or even an entire day you have to purchase a subscription. Which having a pet is already super expensive so purchasing an app or paying for a subscription was out the question for me. This app so far the free version is amazing I can log his day and set reminders there aren’t pop up adds or constant notifications about purchasing a subscription which I love. There are some premium features like adding vaccinations and medical info but my complex has a required pet screening account that all residents with animals must pay for and it tracks all that so I only needed the log feature and so far I’m happy with it but it’s only been one day so I’ll update this in a week and tell you if I still feel the same.

As we’ve been low on sleep from waking up every few hours to take our puppy out, this app has been a life safer for keeping all details in one place. No more questioning of if we fed her, or what time we let her outside. We’re both able to add occurrences and it has been really helpful to track frequency of certain behaviors. When our puppy developed a UTI, we were able to inform our vet with specifics and trends for how often she needed to potty. This kind of information was incredibly helpful to get her the care she needed. I can’t recommend this app enough because it has been a tool that has made the first weeks of being puppy parents all the more bearable.

I never write reviews but this app deserves 10 stars if I could give that many! My dog recently had surgery and my boyfriend and I were completely overwhelmed with his discharge instructions and all the medications we needed to give him at specific times. Not to mention, all the signs/symptoms we needed to watch for such as refusing to eat or regurgitating. Thanks to this app we were able to stay organized and track all his activities and medications. The app is user friendly and I love that we could make our own custom events for symptoms or anything else we needed to track. The reminders feature was incredibly helpful in keeping us on track with his meds. It’s also amazing that we were able to put notes in the reminders so we could easily see not just the name of the medicine but also what it was for and whether it needed to be given with food etc. The customer support is also amazing! I had a question and received a response via email fairly quickly. I can’t say enough good things about this app! The best part is it’s totally free! Don’t waste your time on any other app. This one is the best if you’re needing to track your pets needs and activities.
