Ace Attorney INVESTIGATIONS

Edgeworth Investigations is da a bomb of Ace Attorney spin-off mobile investigation games! It is so fun! I am pretty sure it was discovered in the wreckage of a spacecraft crashed from a much superior civilization where prosecutors are the highest form of being and everyone dresses like they are Austrian aristocrats from the 1810s! It is so great to (again) live life as our favorite breakout celebrity prosecutor, this time you don’t even have to wait for Phoenix to run off a burning bridge! This game introduces some great new characters and brings back some of the lockable AA deities such as Gumshoe, Franziska and Manfred VK. Sure there’s no full on crossover with Phoenix and Maya, but there is only so much awesometasticness that can be squeezed in. Maybe a plot line where Edgeworth is stranded on Mars and only Phoenix and Maya can save him by pointing out inconsistencies would be cool, but this game gives Edgey-poo the space he needs to fully blossom as the Olympian prosecutorial super god that he is! I do wish there was a sprite of Edgeworth holding a paper with two fingers like in AA but that was probably technically unachievable! As for people complaining about needing to read too much(?) remember this is a game about lawyers! This is normal for an AA game, if you need less reading try capybara clicker! This game is nuclear level fun! Point at your own forehead superciliously with the best of them, or just run in circles, it is all so great! Miles Edgeworth will live in your phone! This game is like drinking nectar from the hallowed chalice of truth with one hand while j’accusing contradictions into oblivion with the other! Edgeworth 6 star forever #1tastic to the max!

I've been a major fan of the PW series for a while, it's one of my favorite series in general. The investigation games are one of the few games in the series i haven't been able to play very much, so I was excited to see the iOS port. The game itself still seems great, but the game seems to run pretty slow, and the updated sections of the graphics don't look great to me. The lag may be attributed to my iPad 3, but the tablet runs most games just fine. I'm rating it 4 stars because I do love the fat that companies are porting older games, such as the PW series and even some Professor Layton games. I want to encourage these ports, but I also want them to be good quality. Highly recommend this series.

I have never played the ace attorney series, but I decided to try this game because it looked different, and plus it had DS graphics🤩, (childhood nostalgia gets me every time). I am incredibly glad I did, the game is incredibly well done the characters are interesting and memorable, and rewards the player for using their brain Finally the business model is refreshing; this is a PREMIUM game that lets you play the ENTIRE first episode for free, plus no adds! Then it gives you the option to buy the other episodes individually or buy the full game at a discount price. After completing the first episode, (which is worth downloading the game for alone) the full game was an insta-buy for me. This is possibly my favorite iOS game right next to Wayward Souls and IMPLOSION. Now if you’ll excuse me I have a case to attend to🧐
