BLE Scanner 4.0 – Bluetooth LE

This app is utter garbage, and the fact that it has received mostly positive ratings confirms my suspicion that most App Store ratings rigged and manipulated by the people selling the app. This app has several screens, and to navigate among them you mostly use the menu via the icon at the upper left corner of the app screen. The major problem is that for some of the screens, this menu does not expand. For example, if you tap on “About us” in the menu, this takes you to a screen where you are stuck because the menu icon that you tap does not work on this screen. You are stuck looking at pictures of several “software developers” in India, where “software developers” make up a large percentage of the general population. Some of them actually have college degrees, and a certain percentage of those degrees are more than mail-order certificates, however for the most part if you own a phone and are able to figure out how to use it, you meet the qualification of “software developer”. Anyway, the app is so badly designed as to thoroughly deserve to be labeled garbage. After I deleted it I downloaded it a 2nd time, thinking that I had to have overlooked something. After experimenting with it some more, I deleted it again. Then I started having second thoughts again, so I downloaded it again a 3rd time, and after a few more minutes of experimentation it was very clear that my first impression had been perfectly correct. This thing is a piece of garbage, and the reason is that the people who wrote it simply do not have any real understanding of how to design application software.

I was going insane trying to connect a device to my IPhone 6plus. After trying to upgrade my Bluetooth settings on the above IPhone for one week with no success. Finally I came across the BLE SCANNER APP. Not only was I able to connect immediately to my JBL CHARGE 3 but I was also able to connect seamlessly to my SHARP SMART ROCU TV. *EXCELLENT APP - I only gave the BLE SCANNER APP 4 out of 5 stars, is out of my frustration for not finding the APP SOONER! So I was shoveling my snowy driveway with my white wireless earbuds and I dropped one and couldn’t find it. I didn’t know there were apps that can search for Bluetooth devices. I’m glad I tried this instead of giving up finding it. Luckily I knew the general area I lost it. I managed to find it after ten minutes. I just followed the numbers until it didn’t get any lower and then put my phone towards the ground and looked for the connection bars to go up to at least 4 bars. Then I just dug around until I found it. If you lost a Bluetooth device just try the app it’s free. It’s better than buying a new pair of headphones.
