Recently downloaded this app and I absolutely love it. FREE, very well designed and easy to use. I’m new to being vegan and it makes it a lot easier to feel motivated to keep it up, especially when I’m frequently told that veganism is pointless since someone’s just going to eat it anyway. I love animals and I love the feature where you can see the animals lives saved and despite the horrifying tolls I also find the kill count very moving. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed this app and would 100% recommend to any other vegan. As for the meat-eaters, it’s not made for you 🤦♀️ stop leaving bad reviews on a genuinely helpful app. One thing I would like to see improved is the actual fact checking abilities. The app does list the conspiracy movie as a source and then the cowspiracy website also lists sources but it’s a long rabbit hole to find a credible source. Not that it’s not a credible app, I do believe it is. However it would be nice to have something of a references page with credible sources linked on the app, both for some of us nerdy vegans peace of mind, but also to show to non vegan friends who may dismiss the statistics as fabricated. Overall though it’s an amazing app! 🩷
I love the app so much. It gives statistics on the difference you have made in a way that is easy to use. It shows a lot of things such as the number of animals that have been spared, the gallons of water saved, square feet of rainforest, pounds of Co2 and grain saved. There is also a kill counter that shows how many of each type of animal that has been killed since you opened it. This one is depressing, but it is a good thing to show friends and family to open their eyes about the way that animals are treated. Overall, the app is incredible. It is so motivating and easy to use. Highly recommend.
Sorry about the negative reviews from carnists who don’t have anything better to do, hopefully this can balance it out somewhat, but you deserve the 5-stars regardless. The app is really really incredible, even for how simple it is. The presentation on the main screen is elegant, the numbers are accurate, and the concept is great. It’s really nice to be able to see the impact you’ve had, and I’m sure this app has helped in motivating a lot of people to stay vegan. The anniversary is a nice touch too, and the kill counter is depressing, but I’m glad it’s there. Thanks for what you’ve made, and also for the fact that it’s free.
