Unfortunately due to Milwaukee having their own tracking system, it heavily relies on other users having the app open and a missing tool passing by in coincidence to be able to find it unfortunately I found this out the hard way For some reason with the new app updated the license agreement or whatever it is this coming up to do with the EU not that we are part of it anymore presuming us to do with GDPR or some of the rubbish won’t let me open the app anymore, even though I’ve tried to agree except and comply. It just won’t let me in.
Really impressed with the core functionality of this service, so much more than expected. I thought it was going to be a basic one man sole trader solution and we wouldn’t use it. It plugged a gap and is a great lightweight solution. The web portal expands on its use too. I was worried we weren’t going to be able to export our data to integrate with our other systems but yet another nice surprise. There are some buggy little issues but I am sure they will be worked out an expanded on. I love they opened it up to manage other tools from other manufacturers too and legacy tools. I would snap their hands off for field service/job management tools if they were as good as this little application. Microsoft and others should take note of this solution.
Hi best bit’s of kit I’ve ever brought and probably one of the cheapest, if I have had this years ago I would have saved a fortune on stolen / unreturned tools 👍🏼. Highly recommend A+ Milwaukee keep up the good work . Needs to link in quicker people have to be in range of tools with app settings correctly for more than five minutes , not a drive past or even walking past isn’t long enough , seems 5 minutes is to long to be really effective😬
