Pokedex for Pokemon Sun and Moon

This is a decent Pokedex, considering there arent any other Alolan Pokedex's out there in the app store (Dec 2016) as of now. Pros: This app covers the Alola (Sun and Moon) Pekedex. It does a good job linking them to Bulbapedia. It also shows both Region and Alola versions of the pokemon (if it has another form). Since it is the only Dex out I would recommend this to any Sun and Moon players. Cons: The search function is broken on this app. It does not search the whole dex for pokemon. You have to swipe down and look for it by number. There also isn't a way to "get rid of ads" as most dex offer a .99c charge to turn them off. Lastly some moves a and stats don't match particulars in some cases.

I'm writing this to point out something interesting I've noticed using this app. While it's primarily an Alolan Pokedex all the National Pokedex appears to be available though awkward to get to. Tap on the very first Pokemon in the Dex and the app will present it in its place in the National Dex. An arrow in the top left corner will send you to Volcanion's info, otherwise inaccessible in the app. Tap on Catterpie in the Alolan Dex and you can easily move left to see info on the Gen 1 starters. Presumably I could move through the entire National Pokedex this way, though with many national Pokedex apps out there there isn't much reason to. Perhaps a future update will allow us to switch between Alolan and National. With the info apparently all there I see no reason not to.

Until the other Pokédex app I use get SuMo data added this is quite nice. It's got pretty much anything you need from moves to where to find whichever 'Mon you might want. I think everything's correct but I haven't check every entry, but what I've seen is reliable. Be aware it ONLY the Alola Pokédex; even Island Scan Pokémon that aren't in the Aloladex aren't here. It would be nice if there was either a paid version or an IAP to get rid of the ads. The lower banner ad isn't really annoying but the fullscreen "Lookit dis app! Install it? Y/N?!" can be a bit annoying and the app's contents are good enough I'd throw a dollar the dev's way to get rid of that. Really, if the other Pokédexes get added in here at some point, this would be a great all-in-one Dex. Currently, it'll be great until the other all-in-one Dexes get updated. Depending on how long that takes (and if the dev decides to build on what's here) will determine this app's shelf life.
