I had high hopes for this company. Unfortunately, I hardly ever seemed to fit any of the demographics they were looking for when doing surveys. The few surveys I did do, a couple of them had an error and I wasn’t paid for them. It also can take up 4-6 weeks to get for some of the bigger jobs. Don’t unsubscribe from emails; they'll deactivate your account! I wanted to temporarily unsubscribe from emails until I was ready to sign up for their bonus (you have to use an email they give you because you can’t use your own), but instead it deactivated my account. There was nothing in writing that said that would happen. I’m out around $11 for the work that I did do. It’s too much of a hassle to try to get my account back because I’ll have to send various pieces of personal info to prove I am who I say I am. I did it once, I’m not doing it again. I also read about people having their accounts suspended or banned through no fault of their own because they system thinks they’re fake accounts. If you’re ok with allowing the companies to access personal info from your phone or computer… or you’re ok with being frustrated by the lack of work/ or your work not being deemed good enough and therefore not get paid for your time, then sign up. To me, the inconsistent work, not being able to do the majority of the surveys, and the potential of getting an account banned or suspended is not worth it.

I’ve been using Clickworker (and many other similar apps/websites) consistently for approximately a year and a half. This one, by far, rejects the most tasks (typically, the higher paying photo jobs requiring travel). After completing roughly thirty total tasks over said period of time, ten have been rejected (prior to counting, I would’ve assumed it was more)! The first few I can see being user error or something, but I smell a pattern here in which I don’t typically see with any of the other equivalent apps I use. Another reviewer mentioned not receiving any notes or reasons for her rejections; in the rejections I’ve received there are sometimes reasons and opportunities to correct and other times there are not. Most of the time the notes are vague and would require repeating the entire task, which would end up likely costing *me* money to complete in time and travel in order to repeat and resend for a second time. Other times the rejections will simply and clearly request a certain photo to be resent due to blurriness or issue with uploading, etc. The bottom line for me here is while there are occasionally some great paying jobs listed, I often have to remind myself attempting to complete them will only result in rejection. (Nowadays, I only accept and then complete a task if I am 100% going to be traveling to that exact location and have some time to burn, which obviously doesn’t happen practically ever!) I am unsure of whether the rejection rate is Clickworker’s doing or their clients’, but as previously mentioned, in the last year and a half I’ve personally used about eight other apps/websites with either similar or identical work and very *rarely* receive a rejection!

Sadly, I quickly realized that I was not going to make much money as a click worker. I used to spend hours and more hours qualifying for different jobs and taking notes on how to do the task correctly just to have my work rejected or not paid for whatever the reason was that day. It’s really hard to improve when you have no idea or any explanation as to where you went wrong!! I would feel really good about my work and then it would be rejected and jobs I felt were subpar I would get credit for. I would plan to work a few hours and when I would sign in to work my account would show suspended or account disabled or account expired or some unexplained issue. Some days they could fix it the issue right away but, many times I would lose out for the window to work while waiting for the help team to reset my account so I could log in. I don’t think it’s a scam, but I do think they are getting work from us for very very low pay and never explain why work is rejected. Frustrating but interesting 🤔
