My Story: Choose Your Own Path

I have been enjoying this game for over a year now. I absolutely love playing it. But one of the things I don’t appreciate (and I wonder if anyone else has caught on) when you don't have enough diamonds or let's be real...money in your bank account to be buying outfits for you character, the other characters always make rude remarks about how horrible your characters outfit looks. Oh I'm sorry I don't have enough luxury money to drop $5-$10 or even $100 on diamond packs every week just to support your application. I get it you guys need to make your money, but don't use the other characters to degrade our personal character. Lame tactic to get us to spend our money. And why do our characters need to obsessively change outfit every single scene? These characters change outfits more than a primadona princess. Also, why are the outfits and dialog choices so expensive? If it was occasionally, I wouldn't mind. But even when buying the diamond packs your paying $10-$60 for diamonds that only get you 3 choices on the game than you need to buy more on top of the fact that you also need to buy tickets and if you don't buy the tickets you need to wait 5 minutes to an hour for the game to let you continue playing. The choices are so expensive (at least $25 for one choice) that your diamonds get sucked up so fast so you will need to spend more money to get more diamonds for choices. If there wasn't so much pressure into spending money on this game, I would probably actually buy diamonds to support this app and rate it a 5 star. I really do enjoy this game, but after a while the pressure gets old.

I think that the diamond prices for outfits and choices are a lot too much expensive maybe each clothing supplies 5 diamonds and then choices would be.. 5 or 10 maybe even 15 diamonds. Well I hope you make this app better by this see ya. And you definitely should get this it’s great sexy,scary,romantic honestly it has a romance or horror book of your dreams! You’ve probably been waiting for a good book your whole life..so take a risk! You all deserve to take 1 big risk in your life. Oh and a good story in chapters is Dear Mona it’s great! It’s such a good and a book where you wanna flip the page so bad but it just ends the chapter. Honestly yes it’s great really, really great. I hope you guys make the right desicion in this app. And even in your own life be proud of who you are and who you could be as I always remember when I’m sad is “ If You Believe It, You Can Achieve It” so take a risk in your life remember who cares if your ugly? It only matters on the inside if your kind and helpful and you may have a risky road along the way but never give up until you find your happy ending. You got this!

Downloaded. Read 4 chapters. Deleted. I never write reviews. But I feel compelled to warn others: the way this story game is set up is shameful. Throughout reading chapters, picking outfits for your character can be the most fun aspect, and they advise you the choice will affect how other characters treat you. Who wants to feel like they’ve made a poor choice, even if it’s within a choose-your-own-adventure story? So if you don’t want to spend real world money to purchase an outfit, you can choose the free one, which often doesn’t look like a terrible choice, it’s usually just more casual than paid options. The downside: there is only ever one free option for outfits, the free outfit is always ridiculed by other story characters (free outfits are even ridiculed by parental characters), and at times the free outfit choice doesn’t make sense with the story line. A pink tracksuit at prom? Come on people, the character had a dress for a previous party, I know it’s in her closet somewhere. The game is fun, aside from this aspect. The story reads like a drama comic, and can be entertaining. That said, the developers are greedy and need to make changes to the free aspects of the game. Developers: want to make money? Then be more respectful to your readers and offer free choices that (at the very least) make sense. The idea that you should spend real money - to buy gems - so you don't get bullied for your outfit - in a fake story - is not a good look for you.
