Hollywood Story®: Fashion Star

So, I love this game and I have restarted so many times just to replay and make new characters and decisions. Farthest I’ve made it was Beverly Hills. Now, a lot of the clothing is cute and i really want it. But I don’t want to spend money on this app and when I want to get clothing later in the game even in the Harlem store. Things become super expensive and more things cost diamonds, it was 35 thousand money for a dress which didn’t bother me. I just made another movie and bought it. But I can barely get over 50 diamonds and in the new stores things cost hundreds and diamonds. Now, with energy. Energy bothers me less but is still a critique. It takes a while to gain energy again and many many things cost energy so I usually have to play then leave then play again do some stuff and leave again. Sometimes I just want to play but can’t because lack of diamonds and energy. The Money to me isn’t usually a problem. But sometimes outfits can cost so much. I saw a dress in Harlem that costed 30 diamonds, even when it was on sale for 15 diamonds I still didn’t buy it since I only have 31 diamonds and I never want under 20 or 10 diamonds. No matter how many times I play it I can never get many diamonds or enough. My friend who also plays struggles to gain diamonds to. I still love this game and will continue to play it. Sorry for the essay.

‼️‼️ hardly EVER write reviews on games so that just proves how much I love this game lol, but I wish there were more clothes, shoes, and accessories that you could buy with the games cash currency. So many of the games clothes and etc. can only be bought with diamonds and it takes forever to get diamonds unless you are willing to purchase them. I’m not naive enough to think that one little review would change that I just think that that’s something to consider before downloading and getting into the game! Especially if you aren’t willing to spend real money on purchasing diamonds to buy the clothes and things. It wouldn’t be such a big deal if clothes weren’t such an essential part of the game. You need a new dress for just about everything if you want to gain fans and move up. Then there’s the energy bar, it runs out way to fast then takes forever to refill. UNLESS YOU HAVE DIAMONDS. it’s just a super frustrating thing that not only I have noticed that the developers seem to be completely ignoring. I feel like if they want people to play their game long term they’d take these things into consideration. Then again they are probably happy with people downloading, spending money and deleting the app as long as they get paid. Which is frustrating.

I really enjoy playing this game, but I can only give a rating of 3 stars..... My biggest reason for only giving 3 stars is because everything that I must buy cost diamonds... I have paid out of my own pocket for diamonds, but I don’t feel like I should have to continually pay out of my pocket for diamonds, but I have found that if I didn’t, I would still be waiting to win diamonds.. A lot of the tasks say you must buy clothes and I find very little if any that I can buy with the cash.... Not only does everything you purchase must be purchased with diamonds, but the items are ridiculously expensive... I have read through many of the reviews and find the majority of the people that play this game and write reviews have the same complaint... It would be nice if more items could be purchased with the money, and not just jewelry and shoes, but the really nice dresses or even the items that the store person is offering and if it was easier to collect diamonds and not just one and two at a time, but sometimes maybe collecting enough to buy a nice gown after a task.... Lastly it would be nice to receive more free clothing items per story instead of one dress every three to four storylines and to actually go out on a date a few times with the husband instead of the husband just standing in the corner and not dating others while married.... If any of my suggestions would/could become reality I would gladly give Hollywood Story a rating of 5 stars...
