For anyone with low vision issues this is an excellent app. Print can be maximized with finger control. Plus the app has easy access points and many ways to view sections and individual articles. The app also allows a user to listen to any article.

I began subscribing to the News Gazette when I lived in Albuquerque. We had decided to move to Urbana and I wanted to become familiar with the area. Millie Otto’s column is sweet, though I wonder if she’s getting tired of writing it. I’ve always wondered why local news spends so much coverage on sports and so little on the arts. The Mailbag is a favorite of mine. I hope all the high school reporting turns the youngsters into regular consumers of the news. The editorial slant is conservative but the letters to the editor provide some balance. Generally, I believe it’s a good newspaper.

Last year we switched to on-line only for our newspaper. Tough decision for me as I always enjoyed the paper in print with morning coffee. Our route had troubles keeping a delivery person on a regular basis. So between going on vacation for a month and all other considerations I made the decision to switch over to on-line. Hard decision for me, a lot of adjusting at first, but now I view it as one of the better decisions I have made recently. Once I figured out all of the features and how to navigate, I love it. It’s there when I want to catch up and can still go back to check old editions. Good choice! (P.S. still trying to figure out what to line the bottom of my bird cage with.). Glenn
