Téo Taxi: Book A Local Ride

The app was supposed to be an alternative to Uber. Which is great to have another source, but it is still extremely lacking professionalism. The price ranges are always deeply incorrect, so a $15 charge can end up being $28 not including taxes. The drivers are never on time ended up being 20 minutes and had to cancel. I found this Annoying because it was supposed to be a one minute wait time and when we called it kept saying the driver would be five minutes even though he was down the block. It just feels like a a scam where I had to ask the bank to ask Teo to give me my money back! Customer service is nonexistent and you could never reach your driver.

Downloaded app. Immediately wanted credit card. I don’t like to link credit cards to apps and pay cash. Nevertheless I put it in a thought I ordered a cab. Saw a note that my credit card was being put on hold then nothing. No confirmation of the booking. No cab came and I phoned to get one. There is no way of contacting anyone if there’s a problem with the app. Now I’m trying to find out if my credit card was fraudulently charged. I deleted the app. Will not deal with them again.

This app is magnificently designed, very useable and beautiful. The taxi service is prompt, affordable, and feature-rich. Ordering pickup with my phone for a WiFi-equipped electric car driven by a professional feels like I’ve been propelled into the future.
