I’m happy to have this app to follow progress as well as additional information. It’s nice to have additional workout ideas/routines. Having it tied to my phone is also great bc it tracks daily walking, equipment usage, etc. The Egym equipment has simplified and sped up the process of lifting (that I frankly would not have done). Having a previous back surgery, lifting was not a priority but I feel comfortable doing that & trying to branch out & finding information/workouts suggested on this app.

I truly love this app. I can check in. On my phone which I prefer vs the plastic tab. Also you can log workouts, select spots for classes and other cool features. I find out about information about the Y with policies and other good information. If you’re a member of the Y you need this app on your phone!

Booking classes is easy. Needs improvement on signing up for child watch. It’s a pain to sign up if you have more than one kid & use it for several days each week — you have to fill in all of their personal information separately for every kid. You also have to go into your profile and change your “home branch” in order to sign up for child watch at different locations. To FIX these problems, 1) it would be helpful to have a profile for each child under the parents’ profiles (since they are in the system anyways, I wouldn’t think it would be too difficult) that you could check a box for scheduling a time so they could all be booked at once & 2) having a drop down menu to choose the branch for the time you are reserving. (This is how the app at my old gym worked for child care and it made it much easier).
