I’ve used Tricella for about 3 years. For awhile, there were several features that didn’t work well, but, after several needed updates to the app, I would say that i am quite happy with it. When something doesn’t work, it’s usually my fault for misreading or opening the wrong drawer. I’ve forgotten when I last needed to change the batteries.

My husband suffers from seizures and if he misses one dose he will have a Grand Mal before his next dose. My daughter searched for a method that would remind him and send us reminders if he misses. Ours works as designed thankfully! This has been a true life saver. I can't understand the negative reviews because ours works like a charm. The only problem we have had is because of our fault. If you slightly leave a door ajar it will run the battery down. We even travel with this and just connect to the internet where we are at. I am a user for life! My husband uses this food his ONE medication because it is his most important one. This will not work for multiple pills multiple times per day. That might be why others didn't like it.

I really should have read reviews for this before purchasing it on clearance at target. I bought this for my sister who is going through chemo and has to take multiple pills multiple time’s a day. I thought this pillbox and app would help keep our family on top of her dosages and times she needs to take her pills. In order for that to be the case, I would have to buy several of these dumb pillboxes. 🤦‍♀️ & that wouldn’t even completely solve the issue. You’re better off saving the money and buying a plastic pill box and downloading a medication tracker that actually does something other than remind you to take your gummy vitamins every morning. 😡
