Facetopo: Your Makeup Tutor

I used this app to get to know my face shape and to help me with my makeup. This app helped me so much with figuring out where to put my contour, highlight, blush etc. I also wasn’t sure how to do fancy makeup with all of these elements but their tutorial videos were also super helpful with that!

The try on features are wonderful that helps to see different make up looks virtually. It is a great tool for someone who wants to experiment with different looks without committing to buy products. The app offers a broad variety of make up looks which makes it easy to find the perfect product for your skin tone and type. It allows you to move out of your comfort zone while trying out different and creative make up looks and finding the best fit of make up combination for your face!

As someone with little to no understanding of the basics of makeup, I really enjoyed this as an introduction to the basics of highlight, contour, and blush. I was able to see what they would look like like in the virtual makeup tab, but also how they are to be applied with directions on my face in the pro demo. I LOVED this feature, being able to see the exact placement and direction of makeup application on my face was a treat and it was really educational. Helps get over the bump of “where do I even begin” when starting a face of makeup (plus the science of the face mapping is just so cool!)
