I prever this school version over the subscription based app. Pay it once, download everything once (that's why this school version is much bigger than the other one). Then you no longer need to worry about subscription cost and download books in the app. Your kid's iPad can stay offline the entire time they use it. But on iPad this app can only show as 4:3 display ratio. This doesn't fit the latest (6th gen) iPad mini display. It could use some update.
I couldn’t find these in the App Store for a long time! I am thrilled to have these back, and available to my students. I really appreciate the feature where you can tap on items on a page and the word for that item will pop up and speak. Very useful and engaging!
There are 55 books in this collection. Some favorites that you will remember and some new ones to enjoy. The only thing I wish they had was the same intro to the book as you get with the individual book.
