Goldie: Appointment Scheduling

I tried enrolling in a couple of Goldies competitors (before finding Goldie) for automated text reminders for my clients to help free up some of my “off” time each week. I was promptly rejected from one because I didn’t have an opt in option and the other I never received an email so I could even set up my account! What a racket. Goldie out performed them regardless! It offers so many additional features those other apps didn’t. Best part they send the opt in text for you!! Didn’t have to lift a finger. It easily integrated my extensive Apple calendar with no hiccups and importing client contacts was a breeze. I was able to select only clients instead of my entire contact list. - Thank you! I have been using it for a couple weeks now getting the hang of the process and working out the kinks (tech learning curve and plenty of user error but that’s on me lol). I am beyond impressed with this app. It’s very customizable and user friendly. Excellent product! Update after 7 months of use. I still adore this app. The developers are integrating new features I have asked for! Now I can get income statistics day to day week to week ect which is so nice to have when budgeting. I can now mark apts as canceled or no shows and easily figure out my underperforming clients.

I have been using this app for a few months now. At first it was great. My husband and I own our own business and are always going in two different directions, so we needed a calendar that synced with any changes that either of us made. ***Note: I had to pay for this option. With an update they made we lost all syncing capabilities. I reached out to them, they never responded. They have since made other updates that have not fixed this issue at all. Then we received a message through the app that our calendar is still saved in the cloud. Excuse me! What good does that do me when our devices still don’t sync! I have tried logging out of both devices and logging back in, I have even deleted the app and reinstalled it hoping that this would resolve the issue. Nope! Even though it will update both devices they still don’t sync when changes are made. I will be looking into other apps as this is a vital part of business for us. Very disappointing. UPDATE: So after about three months of trial and error they finally got to a solution for the syncing issue. The one thing I am still unhappy about is it took a negative review to get these guys on the ball. However once they did they were on top of it until the issue was resolved. The roll out with the Goldie app was smooth and now a year later I am still using the app. And I am happy to report I am very happy with it.

I was basically looking for an online/mobile appointment book, and this was exactly it! I love how the app is still accessible (and helpful!) to users who aren’t subscribed. There’s an unlimited amount of services that you can have, no free-trial that forces you into a subscription by a suspended time, color coordination, if you connect an SMS number to the app, you can notify and follow-up on clients, and a lot more that I could spend time listing. Despite being great as it is, the subcription is still extremely appealing for those who want more. With the subscription you can message the clients without a separate SMS. by using the in-app messaging system, you can supervise your staff and be able to have a clientele list as well as an employee one. You could track your employee’s statistics too. I’ve seen that you can also allow clients to book appointments through the app, but I’m not too well-versed as I was uninterested in that feature. The only con I can think of is that without subscribing, you only have access on one device, but that’s something.I can’t really complain about. The improvements that would really garner benefit is the ability to mark set appointments as “cancelled”, “late” (maybe even with how long), and “rescheduled”. Those woukd be extremely helpful. Other than that, I haven’t come across a more impressive application. Thanks team!
