NASB Bible Holy Audio Version

The heading tags have been ignored. (Transform the XML tags around them into an H3 html tag or whatever format is used!) To get to a chapter, one has to tap the table of contents, find the book, and then the chapter, OR swipe right or left to turn one page at a time. It would be nice to be able to tap the book title at the top and get the TOC to appear showing the book in the ordered list. That would be helpful if, for example, I’m only reading the gospels. That would be closer to an actual book experience. The search function is (aside from the translation) what I find to be of value. And that’s enough for me. Though an added bonus would be if the app had a button the user could tap to bring up a random book/chapter or random verse and be encouraged. The Spirit DOES work through tech. Glad the app does not have too many bells and whistles nor popups. I wish though that i could buy it. I prefer a clean appearance without the ad bar at the bottom.

This is a very good Bible app which has wonderful features to make adjustments in settings. But there is one big flaw. For example… I do a search for the phrase “old man” and over 100 verses come up because of words that have those words in them instead of only searching for that phrase. For example…gold , many, manner , told , molded , manifest, Roman , commander and a lot more. Since there is no choice in the app to communicate with the seller… I went to the App Store to seek to communicate with the owner… and one of the selections is “ report a problem”. I tapped on that and two seconds later I got a message saying “your session has timed out “. Which forces me to use the ability to write a review to get this message to the maker of the app. Other than this very aggravating problem not being able to look things up, I use the NASB app frequently and even take photos to text fellow believers to encourage them in the Lord in these last days

I used this app for awhile before I decided to rate it. It seems to be just what I need in the daily devotions and of course the NASB version is the one I have used for years and is the best in my opinion. If you are reading the Bible through, this app gives you different ways of doing that. At present I’m reading through chronologically. It helps b me keep the time frames in order. The app also has other abilities like saving Scripture to Bookmarks or notes while you’re reading them. I would recommend anyone trying this app to make a decision before passing it over.
