App is user unfriendly. Self counter at arrival hall always break down. Customs insist on downloading app. Can pay straight away but lazy to do the work. Make me waste my time. The senior office was very sarcastic saying why buy smart phone if you don't want to pay by app now all thing can pay by app. So customs office you be out of job or you just to lazy. Post still have counter service.

Travellers with purchases exceeding their personal duty free concession or Goods & Services Tax (GST) relief can use the app to declare and pay the duty and/or GST for the goods purchased, anytime anywhere prior to their arrival in Singapore.
