At least I’m not the only one with these issues I have two Vine Thermostats and very often one or both go offline via the app. Sometimes unplugging from the wall and reconnecting fixes it although not always. They are normally connected to the wifi on the thermostat themselves. I believe there is an issue back to their server as I have contacted Vine support in the past and often they’ve had server issues Today I’m having an issue with the upstairs thermostat app says device offline. I’ve already unplugged it and reconnected. Thermostat is on wifi. Anyone with any ideas let me know thanks

We recently bought a house that had this thermostat already installed. We have had it for 6 months and it’s been working for us, but we cannot figure out how to set up wifi, it’s pretty complicated and the app is not user friendly. I would give it a 5 stars if I were able to control it with my mobile device, but I’m giving it a 3 stars instead because we haven’t had any issues with the thermostat so far, we put in on auto and have it be on a schedule, which does well. We have never experienced it just turn off or reset itself unexpected. But here’s to hoping 🤞🏼

This is pathetic! The app is supposed to be the conduit between your thermostat and their server. The problem is that the server is required for you to make any and every change to the unit. However this app/service does not work. You will regret buying their thermostats. They do not have customer service, sales support or online presence allows you to reach out and request assistance. It’s not that the unit can’t be set up, it’s that because their service and their servers are down all the time! So basically you paid around $100 for a thermostat that’s only going to give you the same functionality as the $20 thermostat Walmart can do. So basically your spending an additional $60 for the frustration and aggravation and the lack of support that Vine offers.
