My husband and I have been using this system for just over 4 years now. Because we live in an RV and sometimes travel around the country and meeting new people means always strangers, never really a lot of long term friends, or even acquaintances, and so if you’re in an RV park and meet others in their RVs, dinners and the like usually entails people inside and like all RVers, we’re curious and we want to know about theirs and how it differs from ours, etc… So, we have several of our cabinets fitted with these for important paperwork, meds, etc… Our ammo and rifles are behind these ad well, and when we’re in a state where “green” is legal and we want to relax, you’d be surprised by how many people want to share, or rather, partake of yours. It’s simpler to get anything we might need out of the cabinets, store the rest back inside, and then not only close, but lock them. The app has never failed us and the once or twice we couldn’t make use of our phones to unlock the cabinets for one reason or another, we have the cards in various places, so we can still gain access to our stuff. Honestly, these locks are one of the best investments we ever made after we bought and moved into this RV. And of course alerts and notifications are quick and reliable. Anytime any of them are unlocked, it sends alerts to both our phones in less than 5 seconds. We know which cabinet and what time it was unlocked and when they were relocked. In fact having these actually allowed us to pinpoint an exact time and which cabinet was broken into when someone tried to break in and steal our smart watches, wallets, and a few other things. Police lifted prints off the cabinets which saved a lot of time and in less than 24 hours, our stuff was returned to us and they were in jail. So, thank you very much. Your locks have been nothing if not absolutely necessary and saved us a lot of money and from having to cancel credit cards and buy new Apple Watches and get new licenses.

When I installed, it gave directions for left and right side locks The directions on this isn’t very clear but I thought it was Left. However, choosing left when I tried to lock and unlock the deadbolt wouldn’t move in and out only make a sound as if it was moving. So I switched to right side. The deadbolt now moves in and out but there’s a problem. When you want to lock the door I have to “touch to unlock” in the app and when I want to unlock I have to “hold to lock” in the app. And since this is the case the passcode to unlock the door won’t work because it wants to lock it… same with the fob. I can only use the app or the key itself. I have no idea how to fix this problem. I have tried support, Google. There is a video and it says to go into the app and switch door locking side, however that option is available in the app I have. I have made sure my app and firmware are up to date and batteries are at 100%.

Lock itself was fairly easy to install, unfortunately there are several grammatical and language errors within the instructions in the English translation. Super important to understand right hand side versus left-hand side door when looking at the picture to understand it’s the view from the outside not from the in. All also make sure to follow instructions on horizontal versus vertical and perhaps that will solve some of the other peoples problems that they’ve had with the installation and the app not working correctly. Strongly dislike that you cannot tell if the door is locked or not, I would expect the lock icon to change to show that it is unlocked when that is the case. Another suggested improvement would be able to schedule a time to lock the door, versus just having a delay of up to 200 seconds Other than that works fine.
