Running Tracker App – FITAPP

I purchased this app unsure of whether I would really use it or benefit from it. I am glad that I made the purchase. The app lets you select your type of workout whether that is walking, running or a bunch of other forms of exercise. The app tells you how far, how long and your speed and average speed. What I also love about the app is that instead of having to pay for an entire year you can pay per month which is outstanding. Would highly recommend this app to others!!!

A year ago I received a spinal injury. I started in a wheel chair, graduated to a walker, then a cane and I now have a walker with a seat. I walk as far as I can as often as possible. FITAPP sends me my steps Thru notifications several times a day. This is so helpful and it encourages me by showing my accomplishments, even if they are small. Receiving the texts throughout the day holds me accountable to meet my 2500 step goal and praises me when I surpass it. Definitely use this app. It’s like having your own cheerleading squad 📣😀

So I am starting a summer workout program and needed an app to help keep track of my distance and time (speed was not as important). So I install the app, set it up for cycling and start going. Despite it stating that the workout started, after finishing it said that my start marker was nearly half a mile away from my house. I live in a large neighborhood and my route was to ride through it to a large bike path in a field outside of it, ride to the end of the path, turn around, and take the same path back. Instead of tracking my distance through the neighborhood and back, it make a straight like from the staring point (which I pointed out was very wrong) to the end of the path, and then made a perfect angle straight to my house where I ended. I ended at 2.44 miles, meaning it cut off around 3-4 miles of travel. The speed was also unreliable, as it tracked me as nearly immobile for a quarter of the trip despite me not stopping unless I needed to cross a road. No idea if this was just some one in a million bug but the app just has not worked for me.
