I am flying from Europe to USA on condor. One of the new routes thatโs been open. It is impossible to get any help from customer service, no numbers, no online help, no one answers on social media (Instagram). Luckily when I arrived at the airport there was a representative in Frankfurt airport (Natalia). She was amazing, calm and knowledgeable. Answered every question I had since I am new to the SeatBoost app. After speaking with Natalia I was confident in the app and how it works. Very thankful to find her at the airport since there is no online help or over the phone. 5 star for Natalia, the help with the app should be a different rating.
I recently had the pleasure of being assisted by David an outstanding agent at Frankfurt Airport who helped me bid on a business class seat. From start to finish, the experience was seamless and truly exceptional. The agent's professionalism and expertise were evident from the moment we started the process. Their friendly demeanor and willingness to answer all my questions made the entire experience stress-free and enjoyable. This level of personalized service is rare and greatly appreciated. Thanks to their exceptional service, I enjoyed one of the best flights I've ever had. The comfort and amenities of the business class were incredible, and I have the agent to thank for making it possible. I highly recommend their services to anyone looking for a smooth and delightful travel experience.
So the concept seems like a good idea. But the reality is that it fails miserably because: 1) it does not tell you in advance that there are no upgrade seats available so you are waiting around with your bid even if there are no seats available, 2) you never see any other bids. So you donโt even know if someone has outbid you. 3) after the time runs out it gives you another minute to bid more which we did but again you have no idea if someone else is bidding more. Overall it ruined our flight as we would have paid more for an upgrade. Moreover the entire TAP flight experience with forcing you to check your cabin baggage because itโs a small plane similarly soured us. So net net. We will not fly TAP ever again. United here we come. Donโt waste your time or effort with this app or with TAP. Typical state airline mentality, absent on what drives a good customer experience. What a shame
