This company is too notch. They have everything in your customer portal so there is NO doubt what they are doing for us. We get to pick what features we want to use and only pay for those. Price is very reasonable. And for the first time in 15 years we are getting reviews posted on Google. Excellent company to work with. We have been using bird eye for 2.5 years now and love them!!
They charged my credit card for the full annual fee despite giving 30 days notice more than 60 days before annual renewal date. Call center and customer support is in India so the language barrier doesn’t help. You’re unable to remove your credit card data from the online portal, and when I asked to have my credit card info purged the rep stated they are unable to do that. This credit card hostage taking is giving them access to bill you. I’ve always felt it’s the consumers personal payment info, and as a consumer you should have ability to choose to have your payment info forgotten, especially after giving the 30 days notice to cancel. After several phone calls to complain about the canceling process I was still billed for the full annual amount! I did get a notice via email to reimburse the full annual amount, about $2100 but it took several weeks. Mind you, I have the customer support ticket and documented the cancellation confirmation, despite all this, they still billed me over $2100 for one-time annual fee. Shady business practices all around. I don’t like business that are difficult to work with, hold your credit card info hostage, make canceling very difficult, and are just an overall pain to deal with. To date, my credit card has not been reimbursed the full annual amount.
We have been with BirdEye for about a year and a half now. We use the chatbot on our website, text messaging services and review services. Before BirdEye, we had 5 reviews on Google. Now we have several hundred. This becomes a gift that keeps on giving, because new clients reference our online reviews as a reason for choosing us, go on to leave a review and continue that cycle. We installed the chatbot after revamping our website. The level of engagement we now have with our clients is superior. We are able to respond to inquiries within 30 minutes to an hour; leading to a higher lead capture rate. Our business has grown significantly. And while we did implement several different changes concurrently, BirdEye has been a greatly functional part of the results. Simply put, if your business is heavily customer facing, you shouldn’t do business without BirdEye!
