Interview Pilot: AI Copilot

This is a good tool for preparing for brief screening interviews, but fall short with second and third round longer interviews. These expect longer more detailed answers, something this app steers you away from, especially in practice mode. It does provide good feedback, good and bad, on the content of your answers, but focuses far too much on style. However, the overall analysis is wrongly critical of pauses in particular, reading far too much into them. It consistently interprets all pauses as doubt, rather than consideration. Follow this app’s lead, and you’re going to get called out for using AI, even if you just used it to practice Edit: the developer’s response addresses none of the items above. It remains a good tool for preparing for screening interviews but I found it far less effective for later rounds. I also encountered none of the technical questions it posed in any of the two dozen interviews i went through.
