It is good! I would like to see how many days of the week I used the app, but I can't because every time I miss a day, the count resets and starts over from that day. I don't know if the intention is to show us that we are being “consistent”, but this ends up hindering the tracking of actual metrics. I also would also like to see improvement over time in specific areas, such as confidence, clarity, and structure, but I don't know how I'll be able to tell if I'm actually improving. The app is good though and makes me feel out of my comfort zone with real practice.
I signed up for free trial and started to like the app but it had bugs with some of the activities which made it hard to really get the most use and practice out of it. It's hard to give good feedback when the bugs make it hard to practice and improve the skills that this app is intended to be for. Also, I ended my free trial a day before and then was offered another free trial. I took it hoping to have better luck with the app the second time around and to give it another shot, but unfortunately I was charged shortly after accepting the second free trial. I'm guessing it was another bug that needs to be worked on. For these reasons, I can't recommend it :(
The app works well, and I feel it will bring me some value for my communication skills. The only concern I have is the vast amount of grammatical and spelling errors I find in the written portions of the lessons. I have read some things twice and make sure it’s the proper context. This should be looked at especially for an app that is for self improvement in an area such as communication.
