Institutes Course Companion

I downloaded this app to assist with my studying efforts. The app only has quizzes, and does not provide anything I would consider helpful. I thought downloading this would allow me to have access to flash cards, learning material, etc. I did not find this app beneficial in any way. Very disappointed. I will be deleting.

This new app is garbage. The old app would tell you if it was right or wrong immediately, and it also had hundreds of questions to help me prepare and get in the correct mindset to actually take the exam. If TheInstitutes was actually trying to improve on their product, they have failed. Awful.

While the interface is much nicer, and it’s free with the course, there is no value to this app at the time of this review (March 2025). The previous (paid) app, had an enormous question bank that provided instant scoring with each question and was perhaps the best study tool available. So, now with The Institutes, you get no books (for many courses) and the app is just the practice exam that you already have on the site. Continuous reduction in value has become a theme. I hope this improves.
