Indianapolis Motor Speedway

I have been coming to the speedway since the late 70’s! Since then I have brought my parents and my brother. Started brining my wife and my kids now they are married and now we all visit with their families and their kids!! Many great memories were made here!!

So far this has been an extremely frustrating experience for me. I’ve been pulling my hair out and screaming at my phone because I couldn’t figure out how to access my tickets and setting up the account and app and login. So far it’s just been a horrible experience. Supposedly I’m supposed to be able to put my tickets in the Apple Wallet app but I can’t figure out how to do it so far. Either this digital ticket thing is not user friendly or maybe I’m just extremely stupid but either way I feel very unhappy.

I love racing and I love Indycar. I live in Indy and I generally just buy a bronze pass, physical race day tickets for May and I’m all set. My schedule was a little different this year, so I bought individual tix for quali, GMR, etc. because it made more sense. This app was a serious pain to set up with multiple awkward verifications and account mergers to get my e-tix to pop on my phone. When I got to the gate, my tickets were gone, like disappeared from the app, and I had to dig through emails to show the person at the gate I actually bought them. In short, IMS has great staff and I got in no problem, but I hope they invest in developing this app to really make the month of May easier for everyone. Hint: take screen shots of your tickets so you have a back up.
