The programming is smart and the seconds in-between programs are filled with information from prayers or advice of wisdom that will only enhance your life. It is never boring and so entertaining that you will find yourself filling your day with ICatholicRadion which will inform and teach you as you navigate through your day. My favorite app! Monica

Listening to this app changed my views of the Catholic faith and brought me back to the church after I had been gone from it for 19 years. It helped me learn that many of the myths if the Catholic church are simply not true and, in many cases, quite the opposite. I have also found that I can really relate to the radio personalities who don’t hide their realness and don’t pretend to be something they’re not. Love, love, love this app!

Specifically I’m talking about: The Catholic Current. Fr Mcteigue’s guests are cultural giants both famed and hidden; nearly all at the epicenter of the mighty storms and hurricanes of social issues the Church is besieged with all over her frontlines.His guests are all well educated and have highly enlightened and balanced perspectives on the most important topics of our age.This show truly sharpens your mind by challenging preconceived notions on topics covered; ain’t nothing like it I’ve come across in over 10 years of seeking a more culturally broad, intellectually respectful, uncompromisingly faithful, and relevant discussion platform.You won’t regret it.Ps. Because I care so much about the show and this great labor of love: three things that could take this show to the next level: 1) improve transitions between commercial breaks. I find it jarring when guests are so abruptly cut off in the middle of their brilliant dialogues 2) I find many questions asked by the host to be a bit leading; just let the incredible insight of your guests and truth speak for themselves/itself; just let the unique insights of these luminaries shine for itself without prefacing in a way might make the answers fee lead on or set up3) maybe it’s just my own preference for sense of humor but sometimes I find the manner in which the questions are asked to undermine the true weight and power of them. If we want to attract those in darkness to hear the truth, we must contrast our message from those of the hopeless or mocking and especially sarcastic voices of the world by packaging them more in a voice of courageous hope and uncompromising joy.
