I can’t delete of my phone!!
Went to the experience with my family, and the app distracted too much from the scenery and was annoying to deal with. For example, a series of quizzes pop up during the trail. You can’t skip them and they block your screen from the rest of the app; restarting the app doesnt help either. The only way to make them go away is to give them an email and a phone number. On top of that, the app is idle most of the time but randomly starts a timer to take a selfie without notifying you. This happened about 10 times and took some nice pictures of my chin. The only redeeming quality about this app is that it didn’t require a wifi connection and still seemed to function as intended. Other than that, total train wreck.
My family and I visited the Harry Potter: Forbidden Forest experience last night, and while the forest show itself was beautiful, trying to get this app to do anything but force me to take the same quiz over and over while waiting in line was incredibly frustrating. At each of the first few markers, I attempted to use the app to “enhance” our experience, but each time all it did was show me a white screen. I overheard some other visitors nearby who were also having the same issue. Eventually I just gave up.
