This app works OK in the sense that you upload a picture and there’s some decent options to generate some ideas, but in my opinion, the delivery isn’t revolutionary. There isn’t anything that this app does that any general AI application can’t do for you on its own. My biggest gripe with this app is that there’s very little customization available once you get an idea that sort of works. You have to start over from scratch every time you want something different. I’d like to see an option where you can keep the current design but tell it to make small alterations, such as to keep the wall color but make the desk larger in the office. You also have to deal with normal AI hallucinations. Like it’ll add a vaulted ceiling in my room or change the room layout entirely. Personally, I’d save the money and put it towards the premier version of any true generative AI program.

I started using this app while planning a small update to my home office, and it ended up being far more useful than I thought. Uploading a simple photo and seeing it transformed into multiple design options helped me finally understand what direction I wanted to take. The lighting and proportions in the previews looked realistic enough to trust. It made it much easier to move from vague ideas to actual decisions without feeling overwhelmed by choices.
