It works well and no lag
5 stars for their city geo app, 3 stars for this version, because this one has permissions to track your data, and I don’t like that. Their city app currently says no data collected. The game play is simple and fun, whoever- guess and place a flag, if it correct/ very near, a green flag will be placed to show you got it right; if you are wrong you can keep trying or even view a hint and then try again. Fun, no ads. (Am referring to the lifetime version).
I downloaded History Geo Guesser and its sister app City Geo Guesser and found them both to be somewhat addictive. I have absolutely no idea what the rules are—or even if any rules exist. You are given an historical event (say, the signing of the Magna Carta in 1215) and a blank world map and your task is to plant a flag near the location in which it occurred. I don’t know how close to the actual site the flag must land to be regarded as a correct guess, but there seems to be a reasonable margin for error. That’s it. The game is strangely satisfying if you’re correct and annoying when you’re not. I came across an incorrect answer and emailed the developer who immediately responded by acknowledging the error and correcting it.
