Hidden Objects: Crime Shadows

I’ve been adamantly against this developer (for reasons only they know - $$) which has eliminated voiceovers. It’s an enormous wet rag on what otherwise was quite an enjoyable game, much to my surprise. The game was quite long, but $9.00 for a game without a bonus chapter (and did I mention no voiceovers?) is unreasonable. I think us gamers should vow to never give these games more than 3 stars, until the developer relents and brings back the full experience with character voices.

I am happy to report that this game is thankfully not fantasy, but crime. Plus, so far my Director of Quality Assurance has found no major issues. I need to ask you all a favor. Tuesday is my boyfriend’s first cancer surgery. I’m scared, stressed and worried, especially about the anesthesia. Could you all say a little prayer for us, and send some positive vibes our way? It would mean the world to me. Thanks, everyone! Update: the surgery was successful, the lymph node biopsy negative, and next is reconstructive surgery and more chemo. Still a ways to go, but I want to thank all of you who wished us well with your prayers! Well, this game was fantastic! Except for the usual touchscreen sensitivity issues, it ran just fine. Domini should stick to crime, mystery and intrigue, and forget about fantasy. The inventory usage was novel and innovative, with lots of interesting gadgets and tasks to accomplish. It was a lengthy game, and I actually found all 140 collectibles. There was a large plethora of enjoyable mini-games and puzzles, as well as plenty of varied HO scenes, some of which were quite challenging. What a fabulous game. Oleg, this is what we should always expect from you. My rating is 4.5 stars. I deducted a half star for the lack of sensitivity on the gameplay interface. Well done, Domini!

Finally a game that is not fantasy! This game was fun with no problems and some interesting mini games. I will rate a 5 but please get rid of the 140 extra objects for a pitiful extra hidden object game. Bring back the match 3 option.
