After getting to 95% on a map and seeing the same player names rapidly spawning within the remaining 5% of the map, with occasional glitch spawns within my territory, it came to my attention the game is driven by bots. There being lag, or a requirement for being online to play is not evidence against this fact. Perhaps once upon a time there were real players - we will never know as bots aren’t transparently disclosed, so what can we trust.
