Best health app and amazing support

This is the best health app ever! It has great widgets for both the watch and phone. There are many widget options to suit your need. The developer gives exceptional support. I have twice requested a specific widget and both times I received a prompt reply and the widget added to the app. This is the best customer service I have ever received for an app! I am an average person who is trying to do better at staying healthy while having a busy job and family life. I wanted simple widgets on my watch and phone to track calories and steps. Nothing fancy. Other apps just didn’t do this. The widgets with this app are amazing. I get the basics that I want in beautiful displays. I love the weekly tracking widgets for calories and steps per day on the phone. It gives me great encouragement. On the watch I love the steps and calories dials showing counts and an indicator of progress. If you want fancier widgets, this app has them too! So many options to suit your needs. I cannot overstate my appreciation for the developer and the app. Best health app out there.

The accuracy of the app not working is all on Apple

Update: I walked 12 flights of stairs this morning. 17 steps each flight. Level walk-in for 20 steps and then another flight. All flights same size. App counted 7 flights. “SEVEN”. This app is NOT ACCURATE!!! Please fix your flaws in the app or refund the costs and I will delete it!!!!!!!!! I have contacted the company, reinstalled the app and the app doesn’t keep an accurate reading of my stair climbing, which my doctor has me do. Between 2-6 stairs flights climbed each day are not recorded and if you are using this app for an accurate reading to keep track of your exercise for medical reasons this is not the app you need.

Why do apps keep going to subscription

This is yet another app that’s part of a disturbing trend on the Apple store. And this also seems to be the only type of review that I am writing lately because this is such a disturbing trend . I got it along time ago before it was a subscribe app and then at some point after one of the many updates it told me that my trial was up, so apparently at some point it became a subscription app. To the developer why do you guys do this? This is not the only app where I’ve seen this happen. I’ve had this happen to about a dozen or so of my apps where I had paid the $.99 or the $1.99 or whatever it was and 3, 6, 12 months later all of a sudden they want two or three dollars every month for subscription. Is being an app developer that bad and that low paying? If so just make the App a subscription app upfront. I wont download it but at least I wont feel like I was bait and switched. And on top of it all you make someone pay $.99 to download an app just so they have the privilege of paying you a subscription. Just exactly who do you think you are and yes I take it personally?
