Hamster Valley

Well to start of this I absolutely LOVE hamsters like who wouldn’t and my parents hate rodents so I’m not really aloud to have one so this game was a success Because it’s like having all these cute adorable hamsters Everywhere like I can’t even believe that I can have some little hamsters They are the cutest hamsters I have ever seen best of all they don’t die so you won’t feel sad because you have them for life! Like you made such a great game I can’t even believe it I absolutely love this game 10/10 stars beautiful work!

An automatic update wiped my account. They acknowledge this problem on their website (which of course you only look at AFTER you lose your data), but don’t make it clear within the app that it has this bug and they cannot restore your save file unless you manually saved it. Even when I reached out to them, they only said they can’t fix it and don’t even offer some credits to my account. For a game where you spend most of your time watching ads, why should I bother wasting days of my time for a 3rd time just to get back to where I was? (I also played the beta). They should warn people themselves instead of having some random person (me) waste even more time writing a review so other people don’t have the same issue I had. Massive time sink in all regards.

I’ve always been a big fan of this artist, so seeing their work in this app is amazing. Very cute, very well done environment. I really like the simplicity of it all, but I think it relies too much on watching ads to advance the valley. It would be nice if the treat run feature was an actual mini game- a more functional way to interact with the hamsters would be sick.
