HackerX: Learn Ethical Hacking

I bought this app because I saw it was on sale for 15 or 20 bucks instead of like 50 or 60 for the whole entire ethical hacking course. I’ve been practicing kali, and I can tell you that this may not make you a whole bunch of money, but if you are in school and you are learning Linux, you do this on your own time or before you get to your Linux portion of your class, you will be ahead of a lot of your classmates. This app has taught me the basics and the fundamentals to help me in my PC operating systems class in college. People need to know that you definitely won’t be getting a job from this but the materials that you can learn to start the foundation of your computing skills is awesome. Highly recommend this app to someone who has little experience and wants to see if they want to get in the computer field. This is a great way to see if it is for you or not without going to college first.

It’s important to know how to protect yourself online, especially nowadays. Of course I’m called the millennial and this generation everyone talks to lay about is my generation. But I look forward to being part of the solution, and not the problem. I learning how to protect myself, not just physically, but against all threats is important in this course, not only will help me learn how to do that but it’s also a way to have options as far as income stream goes, and so far I’m enjoying it enough to think maybe I might take this up part time and see where it goes!

Most apps make you pay the subscription. I’ve never been fond of the subscription idea, just a once and done payment is what I prefer especially on education so if I want to access it again later for any reason, I have that option without having to pay again. HackerX allowed this when I purchased it. On top of that, its divided into multiple sections, and interactive questions as you go. It’s definitely helped in the learning curve as I come from a medical and construction background trying my hand at a new career. It will give you tips on practice, and it has everything in small snack size bites allowing you to build a nice foundation in the fudementals before jumping and getting deeper into hacking. I appreciate the logic and the thinking behind this application, granted it’s not a replacement for comptia certifications, but it’s a good place to start when you don’t have any other experience or know where to start.
