Like many others say board is great for the most part but the app is junk! You’d think the company that sells their hoverboards at near $400 could afford to hire a great developer for their tech. Please, don’t be ignorant, you see these reviews and know that people are complaining about the app so fix it, it shouldn’t be that hard and get a good reputation for your name that people will respect and gladly buy your product. Issues: Constantly disconnecting. Colors on lanterns don’t stay changed. No way to disable auto color change on lanterns. Pop ups in Chinese keep piping up. Should have turning force control since it will occasionally throw you off the board due to aggressive turning force. Option to disable the race car noise inside the app would be nice. Thanks in advance. One star for the app until it’s fixed.

First thing I want every one to understand is that the board is great! But I am not sure if it’s worth the amount that it cost. But the app? Forget it. I couldn’t connect to the music, the colors didn’t work most of the times, and the speed limit works infrequently. The board kept beeping for no reason but that’s fine. The app is mostly useless if you want to guarantee your child is ALWAYS not too fast. Overall, great board, terrible app.

This app is the worst app ever. Unfortunately, it is necessary if you wish to change colors, play music and see your battery life on the hoverboard that it connects to. The developers seem to have spent about five minutes creating this app that fails in every way. We are very likely going to return the hoverboard because of the app. A $250 hoverboard should have an app that works seamlessly together. This is not the case. I would recommend not purchasing the hoverboard because of the inaccessibility and inaccuracies of the app. If you are checking this app before buying the board, you are very smart and I wish I had done the same. The board is decent, but you really need the app to use all of its functions. This app needs many updates to get to a point of usefulness. Again, I RECOMMEND NOT PURCHASING THIS BOARD BECAUSE THE ONLY APP THAT ATTACHES TO IT IS USELESS AND DYSFUNCTIONAL.
