GyPSy Guide is the most awesome “travel companion” we have ever had! Maps are ok for planning a trip or for looking back on them for memories, but GyPSy Guide is right there in the car with you explaining to you what you are looking at. He helps you decide which side trips to take by describing the level of difficulty and what you will see. He tells about upcoming pull-offs so you never miss an opportunity for a great picture. We were in southern Utah and knew nothing about the national parks except that there were a few there. We did Canyonlands and would surely have missed the highlight of our day, Mesa Arch, had he not convinced us to take the short hike. There were so many beautiful places to see that we would have missed had we not had our GyPSy Guide! The next day, we went to Arches, and it was incredible! It can be overwhelming trying to hurry up and find what the map says you are approaching, but not with him. He tells you exactly when you get to them and the best photo angles. Arches was my favorite, and we even retracked to see some areas twice!! He knew exactly where we were and continued teaching us about the wonders we were viewing. We decided to visit Capitol Reef the next day since we were nearby. I must admit, I wasn’t overly excited because I knew nothing about it. But thanks to GyPSy Guide, some of our best pictures and memories of our trip came from there. He definitely gets the credit for that! We are going to Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons in June, and then Zion and Bryce’s this fall. There is no doubt that our GyPSy Guide will be right alongside us in the car!!
We recently took along the Gypsy audio trip thru both of these parks. We downloaded prior to our visit. There was no cell service or internet at the park. The narrator was always with us. A map was included to follow along, but we chose only to listen to the narrator. We just activated the audio as we came close to the park. The narrator started to tell us about the park, the history and made suggestions for photo op’s. The narrator told us when the pull off’s were coming up and what to expect. This audio trip made our adventure much more exciting. We didn’t miss a thing at the parks. If we chose not to stop, the narrator just knew and continued on the trip. I can’t say enough about these trips. We have used them before in Glasier and Yellowstone. We are presently working on Bryce and Zion. Most of all, my husband found the narrator quite amusing, not annoying. After all, he is with you quite awhile along the trip. We made sure our iPad was being charged as we drove and left it on all day. The narrator would come on and off as we approached areas of interest. We definately recommend and will continue to use when we travel to other areas. Just downloaded Grand Canyon. Gypsy, keep up the good work. Well appreciated.
