Title says it all. I love using Greenlane for savings at the truck lanes. I’m a RVer and Greenland typically has the best discounts at the pumps so it’s what I use most often. My only negative comment is the app integrated fuel optimizer. You put in your start and ending point and the app routes and shows it’s recommended fueling to save money. Except it just doesn’t. I’ve tested a few routes and it suggests fueling shortly after departing at a station that doesn’t have particularly great prices. When I manually look, it’s easy to see there are much better options that are cheaper right along the route.
So far I’ve been very pleased with the way the program works. I can do everything at the pump without going inside and buying things I don’t need or aren’t good for me. LOL. I’ve used other programs but they did not offer the savings I get with Greenlane. No semi complicated billing just the facts. Plus there are options to use for payments not just one choice. With these choices there are opportunities for even more savings.
I’ve used other apps and Greenlane is the best by far. What I like the most is you tell the app how many gallons you want to purchase, it only hits your credit card for that amount. If you don’t get the full amount you pay for the pre approved amount goods right back onto your card and the correct amount you purchased is charge….IMMEDIATELY!!!! Other apps hit your credit card for $450-$700 regardless of how much you purchase. Then takes a couple of days to get the pre approved amount back on t ok your card. Why let them use your money for days? The discounts are incredible too. Sometimes almost as $1 a gallon. The referral bonus is awesome too. Easy to show people how it works.
