Gratitude Plus – Journal

Very peaceful app, really makes you know, think about what you truly are grateful for. Helps to see the good things in life even in rough times. I personally am having a bit of a rough time but even right now I can find things I’m grateful for and that’s a truly great thing. My only issue, which is why it is not a five star rated app is the premium and I get it. You have to make money somehow and everyone wants to have a premium version of their stuff these days, but can you be so for real? So many things are only available in premium. At the very least you could make the affirmations free you have over 600 affirmations and you can’t access all 600 unless you are a premium member. I don’t know I’m not saying get rid of it but I am saying that’s just a lot there’s way too many things so you can only access through premium. I get having premium, but sometimes you need to realize when you’re having too much under the belt of premium only.

Does anyone remember that site you could go to and post about cool things that happened to you and everyone would end it with MLIA (My Life is Awesome)? It’s like the grown up version of that and it’s fantastic! You can share your gratitude entries with others around the world and be anonymous if you choose to. Or create a family page that you invite family and friends to and share your entries with them. It gives you prompts to answer about each other which I love! overall seems like a pretty safe and good app as far as I can tell! (Note: I did not fully read the user agreement which is on me, so I’m not sure how safe this app is with cookies and data tracking-wise. My inclination is that it’s more safe than others as it doesn’t ask you to share location, info about where you work or anything like that. It’s just “what are you grateful for?” Which I appreciate.)

I have been struggling with so many battles, I have been trying to have a positive, joyful mood but have been unsuccessful. I only started using this app three days ago, I have used it for three consecutive days now. Each day you can leave an emoji and feeling, and in three days each day my emoji improved, I went from feeling “okay 😐” to “good 🙂” to “great 😄.” The mindfulness on focusing on what you’re grateful for, being able to read what other people are grateful for and letting it open your eyes to the simple things you too can be grateful for, and a fav feature of mine- being able to edit daily affirmations and set timers for them to go off (I have different custom positive affirmations that go off about every hour) these have definitely helped me to stay more positive and improve my mood. This app is great! I’m using the free feature, but I’m sure the premium is worth it! 10/10 recommend.
