Good Espresso

Great app, good recommendations as guidelines, simple and user friendly. Would love to see a search feature for community to compare grinders/espresso machine results of the shots.

This app is just what I was looking for as I look to refine my home barista skills! It’s a simple app with a nice design as well. A couple of UX notes: - should support letters in the grinder setting; the Baratza Sette grinders use letters and numbers. Besides, there’s no real reason to limit users to numbers. - can’t edit name or email in settings. I had second thoughts about including my last name instead of just my last initial, but to fix it, it looks like I would have to delete and recreate my account. - my grinder is set in my settings, but I still have to enter it when I log my shot

Anyone making espresso at home should use this app. I wish I had it years ago! The secret to good espresso is dialing in your variables, and this app helps you do just that. I always think I’ll remember the shots I’ve pulled and what to adjust the next morning, but usually I don’t. Now, I won’t have to rely on my own memory anymore!
