Go X - Ride the Future

I’ve used the scooters here in Daytona a few times. I have actually enjoyed them. I’ve seen people try to ride them on the sand or running in to some quarters size rocks and wrecking but other than that, they r great. The freebie nights always wind up happening when we r already out and about running around in our truck. Ha ha ha. But all in all, I love them. They r fun and easy to ride. Price wise, a $1 to start them is good, but instead of doing like a quarter or so many cents a minute, I would do them for like either so much for an hour, so much for 3 hours, so much for an all day pass, and a little cheaper for the monthly program rentals. I also heard through the grapevine that I all r trying to get some going in California. They would be stupid not to give it a shot. But if they do wind up being stupid and not going for it, please don’t take the scooters away from us here. At least either set up a small business to actually take them over. I am a scooter user in Hawaii that relies on scooter companies" products to get any where I need to go. As there are all kinds of vehicles deployed in San Diego, I have never heard or thought I'd see a 3-wheeler that is so much fun to ride! My wife and I were both able to jump on it because of its wide platform and unexpectedly strong motor. I then also realized we did not need to do that because I can rent multiple scooters from one account very easily. I used to be a professional surfer and I can assure you riding the Go X scooter was the closest thing I have ever felt to surfing on land... I signed up for the weekly pass and have been seeing their scooters every where. Ever since I found Go X I have not opened my Bird or Lime app in more than a month now. I thank the founder for creating such an awesome product that really helped me relive my old profession on the daily. Idea for the founder: please start selling your 3-wheeler, I would be happy to buy and I am sure more of my friends would do the same.

Don’t use these if you’re actually trying to get somewhere! What they don’t tell you when you first try to use the scooter is that you have to park it at specific areas only, or get charged a penalty fee (you get to find out about this clause when you’re already ready to park). The scooters are also poorly made. So I took this out on a ride, and as soon as I got on, the back wheel started wobbling. I was uncertain about this but already got charged the $1 startup fee so I tried to still use it. It continued to do this anytime I went past 5mph. I went on a rickety ride for about 1 mile while the scooter was clattering away when I realized the back wheel was practically falling off! I decided to end the ride there because it was starting to become unsafe. This is when I found out about the parking situation. There were no designated parking spots nearby, and I was getting charged $0.87 a min so walking the dangerous scooter for 1 mile didn’t make any sense. I got charged a $35 parking fee even though I put it safely on the sidewalk out of the way of anyone. When I went to dispute it to customer service, they only refunded me $15 instead of the full price, with the justification that “their scooter could have been vandalized”. This company clearly cares more about their wallet than your safety.
